ADDITIONAL COURSES
When we have sufficient interest from students and the teachers available to teach them, we would like to offer these courses:
Technical/Vocational:
Woodwork technology
Plumbing
Agriculture
Electrical installation
Hairdressing and cosmetology
Business:
Early childhood education
Social work/social administration
Accounting and finance
Public administration
If you are interested in any of these courses, or if you are a teacher who would like to teach any of these courses, please email the College and let us know. Your support will help us continue to grow and contribute to our community.
Equipment donations will also assist us in introducing new courses (see the Donations page for further details).
NEW FACILITIES
We currently have a three story block under construction which will serve the following purposes:
- On the ground floor, the Principal’s office and the accounts office
- On the first floor, the Executive Director’s office and a room for meetings of the Board of Governors
- On the top floor, a new Information Communications and Technology (ICT) lab.
We expect to have this building fully operational during 2025.
Our future plans include:
- Construction of a two story building. The ground floor will be classrooms, with a large multipurpose hall on the first floor to be used for activities such as sitting examinations, watching football and other entertainment for students, conducting meetings for parents and other community members, student functions, and as a place of worship on Sundays.
- Construction of a modern female hostel to enable us to increase enrolments of female students from outlying areas.
- As more courses are offered, construction of additional classrooms or workshops as appropriate for those courses.
OTHER FUTURE PLANS
Commencement of a scholarship program
The aim of this program would be to enable those less privileged in our community to have the chance to study at the College at a subsidised cost.
Actively seek donations of equipment to enable future courses
With the help of volunteers, we hope to begin proactively seeking donations of equipment to enable future courses to be undertaken and also assist our students in setting up their own businesses. This will be an extension of the contributions we hope to achieve through our donations page.
Establishment of a coffee brand for sale to the public
The concept behind this plan is to have an income generating project where students would add value to local coffee, brand and package it, and sell to the public through our website.
Plant a tree campaign to combat climate change
We are looking for funds to start a project of “plant a tree” by our students and the community at large, to help combat the challenge of climate change across the globe.
